Android-based learning tablet for kids launched for Rs 9,999

Metis Learning has launched Eddy, an Android-based learning tablet for kids.

The price of the kids tablet  is Rs 9,999 in India.

Targeted at children aged 2-10 years, Eddy comes with learning content, school curriculum, 150 learning games, etc.

Children can read books, learn to play the piano, explore the world and the universe as well as practice math through games on Eddy.

Parents also have access to over 50,000 educational apps on Google Play store.

Metis Learning has launched Eddy,

Eddy features an exclusive recommendation engine for parents, the Kids Radar, which recommends the most suitable learning apps for their kids on the Play store.

It has a kid-safe browser, which only permits access to reliable websites. Parents can set time limits for their children to play on Eddy and decide which subjects their children should focus on. In addition, they get reports on what their child is actually doing on the tablet. Parents can create up to 3 child profiles to ensure that each child gets relevant content as per their needs.
