Some of these phones are coming with a price revision that is aimed at increasing smartphone market share in the country. Samsung is the #1 smartphone vendor in India.
Samsung competes with Apple, Nokia, LG, Sony, Micromax, Lava, Zolo, BlackBerry, etc.

Samsung says its Galaxy Trend now costs around Rs 8,260.
The price of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is Rs 47,990.
Samsung Galaxy Core is priced at Rs 13,520.
Samsung Galaxy S4, the flagship smartphone from the devices giant, is now priced at Rs 41,500 in India, the second largest telecom market in the world.
The smaller version of Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S4 mini has been priced at Rs 27,200 in the Indian mobile phone market.
Samsung Galaxy Grand is now priced at Rs 17,960. The company is offering a stereo headset worth Rs 2,290 free.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro is also available with a free stereo headset worth Rs 1,990. The price of Grand Quattro is Rs 16,220.
Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 will be priced at Rs 23,870.
