Samsung Electronics on Monday said Galaxy Core Advance smartphone will feature Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory, which can be extended up to 64GB through microSD card.
It may be the replacement to the Galaxy Core Duos.
Considering the features, it may be a budget phone for Indian mobile users.
As per the announcement on Monday, Samsung Galaxy Core Advance smartphone features 4.7″ TFT display with a 480×800 (WVGA) pixel resolution, measures 133.3 x 70.5 x 9.7 mm and weighs 145gm.
The latest smartphone features 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, Samsung said.
2,000 mAh battery will be good enough for a budget smartphone.
The phone comes with a coated back cover and sports dedicated keys for voice recorder, camera, volume, menu, home and power functions.
Connectivity options includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with GLONASS and NFC. Some other features include Optical Scan, Light Sensing technology, Instant Voice Recorder, Screen Curtain.
Galaxy Core Advance will be available in Deep Blue and Pearl White colours. The smartphone will launch in early 2014. The company will announce the price later.
