Nokia Lumia 625 priced at Rs 19,999 comes with gifts worth Rs 16,082

The Rs 19,999 Nokia Lumia 625 is coming with gifts worth Rs 16,082, Nokia said in its latest ad campaign.

This means the effective cost of Nokia Lumia 625 , which was launched two weeks back in India, is the difference between the best price and gifts — around Rs 4,000.


Nokia Lumia 520 was the focus area for the smartphone major earlier and it found success as well. Currently, Nokia has shifted its focus to Lumia 625, another premium phone with budget rate.

As per an ad in a leading news paper in Delhi, Nokia said the company is offering over 3,000 movies worth Rs 4275; over 90 lah songs worth Rs 3,564; Wi-Fi in over 800 hotspots worth Rs 2,899; e-books worth Rs 2,264; 3GB of data worth Rs 2,280; avaial IT on EMI worth Rs 800 along with Nokia Lumia 625.

Nokia is trying to compete with Samsung with free entertainment offers. Samsung is the smartphone leader in India in terms of both shipments and revenue. Nokia, which offers smartphone Lumia on Windows 8 platform, is trying to retain its lost glory.

Eearlier, Samsung offered free games worth Rs 3,000 on the new Galaxy Grand Quattro. The company’s Digital Wallet, which will come with the new Galaxy Grand Quattro, is valid for 90 days and applicable on games.

The price of Galaxy Grand Quattro, a dual-SIM smartphone, is Rs 17,290.

In addition, Samsung is offering Digital Wallet worth Rs 5,000 with its Galaxy Core smartphone that is priced at Rs 15,690.

The Digital Wallet is valid for 90 days and applicable on games.
