GizmoLead.com’s device review correspondent Anand B has listed five phones in the Rs 10,000 price bracket. Check both company website and online e-commerce sites before selecting your smartphone.

1. Nokia Lumia 510

It is a nice Windows Phone by Nokia which is available in the Indian smartphone market. Powered by Windows Phone 7.5, it is available in the market for around Rs 10,000. It doesn’t have a front camera neither a micro SD card slot but it is a nice smartphone available at such a price.

2. HTC Explorer

HTC Explorer (HTC Pico) is a nice low-cost Android smartphone by HTC. It is powered by Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.5. It is available for around Rs 7,500. Its cute design makes it attractive.

3. Micromax Canvas 2 A110

The Micromax Canvas A110 is a dual-SIM smartphone or you can say a ‘phablet’. Its 8 MP rear camera gives you a clean shot. It is powered by Android 4.0.4 ICS but Micromax will give it a Jelly Bean update. Price around: Rs 9,500.

4. Sony Xperia E

Sony Xperia E is a build-solid phone under Rs 10,000. It is available in shops with both single and dual-sim features. Xperia E with single sim is available in Flipkart for Rs 8450 and dual-sim is for Rs 9799. It will be better if you buy from online stores like Flipkart. They keep a better price.

5. Nokia Lumia 520

This sleek phone has 8GB storage and 5MP primary camera. It lets you record HD videos at 30 frames per second. Nokia Lumia 520 is available at Flipkart for Rs 9,999. It is powered by Windows Phone 8 OS.
