Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus to feature edge-to-edge display and dual cameras.

Samsung Galaxy S8 is the trendsetter when it comes to bezel-less design. Many companies have followed the Samsung’s footsteps to feature the said design since the release of S8. This time Chinese phone maker Xiaomi is coming up with bezel-less Redmi 5 Plus. The Weibo user has recently leaked the phone details. The leaked renders suggest that the phone will sport 18:9 aspect ratio display with dual cameras. One can clearly see the design in the leaked pic which indicated the edge-to-edge display.

In terms of camera, the device could sport 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensor dual-camera. The dual-camera setup is featured vertically with dual-LED flash and fingerprint on the back of the device. The mid-range device will run on the Android Nougat. The phone is rumored to feature Full-HD display. On the processor front, it could have Snapdragon 625 with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. 

The design of the phone is looking quite similar to Redmi Note 4. The phone will compete with Vivo V7+, Oppo F5 and Honor 9i in the mid-range smartphone category. The price of the phone is not confirmed but it might cost around INR 10,000 to INR 12,000. Stay tuned for more news and updates on tech.
