Xiaomi backed Black Shark has recently launched the gaming smartphone in China. The high-end smartphone is reportedly also named Black Shark.
The company has not announced the launch of the phone outside China yet. The device is expected to compete with the Razer smartphone, which is built for gamers.
The Black Shark features a 5.99-inch Full-HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2160×1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by the 2.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with Adreno 630 GPU.
The Black Shark runs on the Android Oreo on the top of Joy UI. It sports USB Type-C port with 4,000mAah battery and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 charging feature.
The handset marks a dual rear camera setup on the rear, 12MP + 20MP sensors with dual-LED flash. Both the sensors come up with a f/1.75 aperture. On the front, the phone has a 20-megapixel sensor. Notably, the phone does not feature the headphone jack, while it comes with the dual Biso stereo speakers.
The Black Shark costs 2999 yuan (around Rs 31,000) for the 6GB RAM and 3499 yuan (around Rs 36,000) for the 8GB RAM variant with 64GB and 128GB internal storage respectively. It will be available for in the market in China from April 20.
