Vivo X20 Plus UD: smartphone with under-display fingerprint sensor

Vivo has officially launched the new smartphone, Vivo X20 UD in China recently. Notably, the company has earlier showed the device at CES 2018. The phone is one of the company’s flagship devices. It will go on sale starting February 1 in the Chinese market. There is no information available regarding its launch in India.

The highlight of the Vivo X20 Plus is its under-display fingerprint sensor. It comes with 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The device sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. The handset sports 128GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD card. It runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat OS.

The smartphone has a dual-rear camera, 12MP sensor with a f/1.8 aperture and 5MP secondary sensor. On the front, the device features a 12MP camera with a f/2.0 aperture and face wake feature. Vivo X20 Plus marks 3900mAh battery under the hood.

The hybrid dual-SIM smartphone is priced at CNY 3,598 (around Rs. 36,000) and available in only Black color with a golden frame. Stay tuned tech for more updates.
