Tecno Camon i launched in India, priced at Rs. 8,999

Transsion Holdings backed Tecno Mobile has launched Tecno Camon i smartphone in India. The device falls in the entry to medium level smartphone market segment.

Notably, Tecno Camon i is the company’s first smartphone with 18:9 aspect ratio or full view display. The handset comes with the price tag of Rs. 8,999 and will available for sale from the first week of February via 30,000 retail outlets across the country.

Tecno Camon i  comes with three color options Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, and City Blue. The dual-SIM (Nano) handset has a 5.65-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It features 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB.

In terms of camera, smartphone marks 13MP rear sensor with f/2.0 aperture and quad-LED flash. On the front too, it has 13MP camera and 5P lens with the LED flash. The smartphone is powered by 3050mAh battery.

Camon i  runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat on the top of company’s HiOS. The firm is also offering one-time screen replacement, 100 days replacement and 13 month warranty with the handset. Stay tuned for more tech updates.
