Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) officially. Both the smartphones comes up with the radical change in design compared to 2017 version. The availability and the pricing of the phones are not revealed by the company yet.

The smaller version, Galaxy A8 sports 18:9-aspect ratio 5.6-inch Full HD+ display. On the other hand A8 + comes up with the 6-inch Full HD+ display. The devices are IP68-certified with glass back and metallic chassis.
The smartphones run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. On the processor front, these are powered by 2.2GHz octa-core processor. Notably, Galaxy A8 (2018) features 4GB RAM while A8+ (2018) has two variants 4GB and 6GB RAM. The duo sports 64GB Internal storage, which can be expended up to 256GB through microSD card.
One of the main highlights in the phones is the dual front camera with the combination of 16MP and 8MP sensor. The rear camera in the phone is 16MP with f/1.7 aperture. The users can create Bokeh effect or blur the background of the pictures with the snapper.
Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) are available in orchid grey, black, gold and blue color. Battery capacity of both devices varies as A8 has 3000mAh and A8+ marks 3500mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, Samsung’s latest offerings sport USB Type-C and NFC.
