Oppo A83: A mid-range smartphone with full-screen display

Oppo has launched a new mid-range smartphone, Oppo A83 in China. Notably, the Chinese company has recently launched a number of smartphones. The new handset will be available to buy from December 29 in China as the launch date of the phone in India is not confirmed yet.

One of the highlights of the Oppo A83 is the facial recognition feature. The company claims that the said feature can unlock the phone within 0.18 seconds. The device weighs 143 grams with dimensions of 150.5×73.1×7.7mm

The smartphone features the 18:9-aspect ratio 5.7-inch HD+ full display. The device is available in Champagne Gold and Black color only as of now. On the processor front, it sports 2.5GHz octa-core chip paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB through microSD card.

Oppo A83 marks 13MP rear and 8MP front-facing camera and it is powered by 3180mAh battery. The dual-SIM smartphone has every basic connectivity options including Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, and 4G. The phone is priced at CNY 1,399 (around Rs. 13,500). Stay tuned for more news and updates.
