Oppo A 83: A new mid-range smartphone with face recognition technology

Oppo has recently launched the mid-range smartphone, Oppo A83 in India.  The device is already available to buy via an online and offline medium. Notably, the tech firm has launched a number of mid-range smartphones in India in the last two or three months.

The highlight of the phone is its face recognition technology, which unlocks the phone in 0.18 seconds, Claims Company.

The device comes with a 5.7-inch LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 720X1440 resolution. The company further claims the phone’s overall design is drawn from the Curve design philosophy.  On the processor front, it is powered by the octa-core chip clocked at 2.5GHz. The smartphone has 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD card.

Oppo A83 sports 13MP rear camera and 8MP snapper with up AI based beauty feature for selfie lovers.  The phone runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat on the top of Color OS 3.2 skin. Furthermore, It houses 3180mAh battery.

The phone is priced at Rs 13,990 and available in black and gold colors.
