LG V30 started getting Android 8.0 Oreo updates

LG has started rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo for LG V30. Notably, the flagship was recently launched in India. The update is expected to come up with improvements in battery, camera features, graphics, and performance. The smartphone is currently running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat on the top of LG UX 6.0+.

LG V30 is among the few phones which are getting the latest version of Android. The Android 8.0 Oreo updates on V30 are rolling out over the air (OTA), and initially, the update is only available on South Korean models. The Android 8.0 Oreo comes with a number of features including notification dots and Picture-in-Picture mode.

The flagship sports a FullVision 6-inch QHD Plus display with 1440 by 2880 resolution.  The device features Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

LG V30 marks the rear dual camera setup with a combination of 16MP and 13MP sensors with f/1.6 aperture and f/1.9 respectively. On the front, the smartphone has a 5MP camera. It is powered by the 3300mAh non-removable battery. The smartphone falls in the high-end smartphone category. Stay tuned for more tech news and updates.
