Lenovo brings Vibe X smartphone

Lenovo announced the launch of Vibe X smartphone. It comes with Quad-Core MTK 6589T 1.5GHz processor.

The 5-inch Lenovo Vibe X smartphone, measuring 6.9mm and weighing 121 grams, has a 1920×1080 full HD resolution.

The smartphone features 440PPI. Scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen is one of the other features.

“Lenovo continues to bring head-turning innovations to the PC Plus marketplace with the Lenovo Vibe X smartphone’s uncompromising hardware design, its rich display and memory-making camera technologies,” said Wayne Chen, vice president and general manager, mobile business unit, Lenovo.

Like other premium smartphone makers, Lenovo has invested in camera features this time.

Lenovo launches Vibe X smartphone

Lenovo Vibe X, which runs on the Android 4.2 operating system, has a 13MP auto-focus rear camera with an LED flash. It also packs 5MP front camera.

It has a wide-angle 84° lens that captures high-quality self-portraits. In addition, users can use pinch-to-zoom gestures to adjust their shots. The other feature is a built-in software editor to help enhance facial features.

Storage options include 16GB or 32GB.

The Lenovo Vibe X smartphone will be available in China starting in October and in countries where Lenovo smartphones are sold beginning in December. The Vibe X smartphone is not for sale in Europe.
