Intex brings two budget smartphones for Indian rural markets

Intex Technologies today introduced Cloud X1+ for Rs 2,990 and 3G smartphone Cloud Y11 for Rs 4,490 targeting rural population.

The 3.5” Cloud X1 smartphone is available in Black and White colors, while 4” Cloud Y11 smartphone comes in Black, Grey and White.

With these two dual-SIM phones, Intex will target users who are planning to replace their feature phones in the Indian mobile market.

Main specifications of Intex Cloud X1+ include 1 GHz processor, 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM, 2.0 MP camera, 4GB, 5 GB free Cloud Space, etc.

Cloud X1+ features Unlimited Phonebook which can store more than 1000 contacts.

Intex Cloud Y11:

Main features of Intex Cloud Y11 include dual core processor, Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS, 256 MB RAM, 512 ROM, VGA front camera, 2.0 megapixel rear camera, 5 GB free Space.

Both budget phones feature several built-in apps, smart gravity sensor, etc.

Intex said both phones offer an auto rotate facility, which allows the phone screen to automatically rotate images, video playbacks and/or menus towards the direction the user is facing at that point of time.
