HTC Desire 601 dual SIM smartphone with 2,100 mAh battery, 1GB RAM memory and Qualcomm quad-core 1.2GHz processor will be priced at Rs 24,190 in India.

The launch of the latest phone under the Desire range is aimed at enhancing its product range in India, said Faisal Siddiqui, country head, HTC India.

HTC Desire 601 dual SIM smartphone will be targeted at the Indian youth who want mid range phones with high end features.

HTC Desire 601 dual SIM smartphone, which has a of 4.5″ qHD screen, has rear-facing 5MP camera with advanced features.

HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe with Video Highlights and HTC BoomSound make this the most advanced mid-market smartphone available on the market today, HTC said on Tuesday.

Besides HTC Desire 700 dual SIM smartphone, the Desire 600 also comes with HTC Zoes, bringing images to life in three-second videos. The simple editing capabilities of HTC Zoe support advanced features such as Sequence Shot, Always Smile and Object Removal.

HTC Desire 601 dual SIM phone has 4GB internal memory, 1 GB RAM, 64GB expandable memory through microSD card, 2,100 mAh battery. It weighs 130gram. The size is 13.45×6.67×0.99cm, HTC said at a press meet in Delhi.

The latest dual SIM phone’s first SIM supports 3G and 3.5G, while second SIM supports 2G and 2.5G in India.

The company does not offer the latest Android Kit Kat. HTC says update for the latest OS will be available soon.

Connectivity options include 0.35cm stereo audio jack and microUSB, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX enabled, Wi-Fi, DLNA, GPS/AGPS. Phone users can see these features in Desire 700, which is available for Rs 33,050.

HTC BoomSound speakers and other traditional features are available with HTC Desire 601 dual SIM smartphone as well.
