Gionee M7 to be powered by 5,000 mAh battery


Gionee is all set to launch its flagship smartphone, M7. The company announced the release of the phone on their Twitter handle. The focus point of the said device is its battery capacity which is reported to be of 5,000 mAh. The handset will rival the likes of Vivo V7+, Oppo F5, and LG G6. It is worth noting that the Chinese tech giant has recently unveiled their first ‘Made in India’ smartphone F103 in India.

Specs and features

The M7 will be the company’s first full-view display smartphone. It will feature 6-inch 18:9 screen ratio display. On the processor front, the device will feature 1.4 GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The device marks hybrid dual-SIM card slot, the user will have the option to use two sim cards or one sim card and a microSD card. Gionee M7 will sport 13 MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and 8MP snapper.

The device has the fingerprint sensor on the back. M7 also supports the fast charging. The phone is expected to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Initially, the phone will be available in Blue, Black and gold colors. Gionee M7 might cost around INR 20,000.
