Fujitsu has announced a recall for its Fujitsu Notebook Computers and Workstations due to potential fire hazards.
The lithium-ion battery packs overheating can lead to possible fire eruption in the device and pose a fire threat to the users.

The company has urged consumers to immediately stop using the device with the recalled battery packs. One can use the laptop by directly plugging in AC power until a replacement battery pack is received, reports PRNewswire.
Reports suggest that 5,800 units in the U.S. and 606 in Canada are recalled.
The recall included these Fujitsu notebook computers and workstations – CELSIUS H720, LIFEBOOK E752, E733, E743, E753, P702, P772, S710, S752, S762, T732, T734, and T902.
The product numbers of the recalled battery pack include CP556150-03, CP579060-01, and CP629458-03.
