Asus has announced the Asus ZenBook Flip S (UX370) in India. The company claims it to be the world’s thinnest and lightest convertible laptop, which is 11.2mm thin.
The laptop comes with an all-aluminum ultra-light unibody, weighing 1.10 kg. The device also marks fingerprint sensor on the side.
ZenBook Flip S is powered by the latest 8th gen Intel Core i7-8550U processor with on-board LPDDR3 16GB RAM and 512GB SATA3 SSD storage. The chip clocked at 1.8GHz with turbo frequency of up to 4GHz.
It has a 13.3-inch NanoEdge multi-touch FHD display with the resolution of 1920 x108 and 178-degree wide-view. The display also supports an active stylus. The bezels of the display are quite thin, which company calls “NanoEdge Design.”One of the main features of the laptop is its 360 dual-action ErgoLift hinge that makes it multi-utility device as the user can use it as a tablet or standard laptop.
The laptop has an.5 mm headphone jack, HDMI port, a USB 3.1 port, and a USB-C port that supports fast charging. The company claims that the 39Wh lithium-polymer battery can be charged to 60 percent in just 49 minutes.
ZenBook Flip S further sports the Harman Kardon-certified stereo audio system combined with ASUS SonicMaster audio technology.
It supports Windows 10 features including Cortana, Windows Ink, Windows Hello and Modern Standby.
