ASUS has announced the Republic of Gamers (ROG) G Series G551 gaming laptop. The ROG G551 is priced at Rs 82,999.
The G Series comes in 15-inch with a Full HD (1920x 1080 resolution) display. The device is powered by an Intel Core i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics.
There’s also 4K/UHD-ready TrinityDisplay output for multi-monitor gaming or multitasking. G Series features an advanced cooling system that efficiently removes heat with minimal fan noise so as not to disrupt the gaming experience.
SonicMaster Premium provides rich, crystal-clear high-fidelity audio while ROG AudioWizard features five easy-to-use preset modes with settings tailored to suit different game genres.
Since most LAN gamers utilize headsets, G Series laptops incorporate a headphone amplifier that has been tuned by audio specialists in the ASUS Golden Ear team for more immersive experience.

Last month, the company also announced PadFone mini, a 4-inch smartphone that transforms into an 7-inch tablet. The device is priced at Rs 15,999.
The device supports dual SIMs. Both the 4-inch (800 x 480-pixel) and 7-inch (1280 x 800-pixel) displays use IPS+ (in-plane switching) technology for fantastically clear and sharp images.
It is powered by a Intel Atom Z2560 processor coupled with 1GB LPDDR2.
PadFone mini’s main camera couples an 8MP Sony BSI sensor with exclusive ASUS PixelMaster technology to capture digital photographs.
The device runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean which is upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat. It also has G-sensor, E-compass and Proximity Sensor.
The internal storage capacity of the device is 8GB which expandable to 64GB via microSD card.
