Acer updates Aspire E5-571 notebook with Intel Core i7 processor

Acer has introduced the Intel Core processor U series to its line of Aspire E5-571 notebook in India. The 5th Gen Intel Core i7 processor powered Aspire E5-571 is available at a price of Rs 44,999.

The U series of 5th Gen Intel Core processors supports two cores and up to four threads with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology (Intel HT Technology).

The Intel Turbo Boost 2.02 controls the performance and power of both cores and graphics. It also handles capabilities like gesture, voice, and facial recognition.

The 5th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel HD graphics have a 15W thermal design point (TDP) with a configurable TDP (cTDP) down option. It offers 7 hrs of battery back-up.

The Aspire E5-571 notebook runs the Windows 8.1 with 12GB RAM and 1TB hard disk. It comes equipped NVIDIA GeForce 800M series card.

It comes with a Precision Touchpad (PTP) that supports six core Windows 8.1 TouchPad gestures.

The Aspire E5-571 is available in five colours: Titanium Silver, Midnight Black, Tiger’s Eye Brown, Sapphire Blue and Garnet Red.

The Acer E5-571 comes with Skype Certification for utilising the built-in digital microphone and speakers, which enhance the bass band audio performance. It also comes with a built-in optical drive.

Acer’s previous offering was the 11inch Chromebook, Acer C720. It was priced at Rs 15,999.

It comes with free 1TB Google Drive space for 2 years worth up to Rs.14,800, a buyback offer and a free Skullcandy head phone worth Rs.2999.

It sports a 11.6 inch HD display with 1366 x 768 resolution. It is powered by an Intel Celeron 2957U processor paired with 2GB RAM.

The Chromebook also has High-definition audio support. Acer C720 comes with a set of web apps pre-installed.
