IFA 2014: Microsoft adds Lumia 730 3G and 735 4G smartphones

Microsoft today announced the new Lumia 730 and 735 smartphones at the IFA 2014 show in Berlin.

Lumia 730 is the 3G version, while Lumia 735 is the 4G model.

Both smartphones run on the latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS with Lumia Denim.

The price of the 4.7-inch 730 will be 199 euros. It will have 3G connectivity and slots for two SIM cards, an important feature in emerging markets. A 4G version will be known as the Lumia 735 and will cost 219 euros.

It’s available in bright green, bright orange, dark grey and white colors.

The company is offering Free global HERE Maps and HERE Drive+Free HERE Transit available in the Store with these two smartphone models.

They feature 5” ClearBlack IPS-LCD 1280*720p display.

2200 mAh battery Integrated Qi wireless charging are good options for heavy data users.

The other features are 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, PureView 10 MP with Optical Image Stabilization, improved Nokia camera. LED flash, ZEISS optics, 1 MP front camera, 720p video and 16GB + 15GB free OneDrive, micro SD slot up to 128GB.

Microsoft is offering a free three-month Skype Unlimited World subscription in selected markets. With this, you can make international phone calls with friends and family on their mobile and landline phones.
