Samsung offers new gaming bundle, includes Assassin’ Creed Unity

Samsung has announced a bundle deal with Ubisoft, which will include a download of Assassin’s Creed Unity. It will come with the purchase of the Samsung U28D590D (UD590) monitor or the Samsung 850 PRO solid state drive (SSD).

The UD590 is a monitor designed to provide optimum gaming experience, with an ultra-high definition screen, one millisecond response rate and one billion color gamut.

“The UD590 premiere monitor and the 850 PRO SSD will bring Assassin’s Creed Unity to life and allow players to experience the game in a completely new way. We’re happy to be providing this extremely popular offering to our customers.” said Ron Gazzola, vice president of marketing at Samsung Electronics America.

The UD590’s 4K screen offers the premium visual experience for gamers, with 3840×2160 resolution, which is four times higher than resolution and pixels of Full HD displays.

The 28-inch screen has eight million pixels to create the clearest and most detailed picture. The monitor includes a UHD upscale feature, which converts low resolution content to UHD level picture quality.

The monitor supports one billion colors, which is 64 times more colors offered by conventional monitors, displaying images in lifelike quality with one millisecond response time.

The 850 PRO SSD offers users enhanced visual and graphic effects and game levels that load twice as fast as with a hard disk drive (HDD) and has optimum multi-tasking capabilities. The SSD has Samsung’s V-NAND technology, the drive performs the best among SSDs when used with the SATA III (6Gb/s) interface.

The Assassins Creed Unity download will be available for the Samsung 850 PRO SSD with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1TB capacities.

The UD590 monitor is available now for an MSRP of $599.99. The 850 PRO SSD is available for an MSRP of $229.99 for the 256GB capacity, $429.99 for the 512GB capacity and $699.99 for the 1TB capacity.
