AMD has announced that users will get a game bundle on purchase of AMD Radeon graphic card. Users will get a complimentary copy of 2K’s Sid Meier’s civilization.
Users who purchase AMD Radeon R9 295X2, R9290X or R9 290 from participating retailers are eligible for getting a complimentary gaming bundle.
“AMD believes that gamers should freely experience that remarkable development work, and our new Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth promotion offers exactly that as a ‘thank you’ to new AMD Radeon customers.” said Roy Taylor, corporate vice president, ISV/IHV Partner Group, AMD.
The AMD Radeon R9 series supports display technologies like AMD Eyefinity and 4K UltraHD. Support for AMD CrossFire technology and an implementation of the Mantle graphics API provides radical performance and smooth gameplay.
In Civilization: Beyond Earth players lead an expedition from Earth to a new frontier, enabling them to explore and successfully colonize an alien planet. The game’s storyline ventures into uncharted territory for the franchise as the game propels the evolution of human civilization into the future.
Sid Meier’s Civilization is the first next-generation PC game that crave larger GPU framebuffers and AMD Radeon R9 290X 8GB is the most compatible. It has higher frame rates than any other single GPU graphic card.
In addition to the Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth bundle, all AMD Radeon R9 295X2, R9 290X and R9 290 graphics cards are simultaneously eligible for the Never Settle: Space Edition promotion.
Users can qualify for their complimentary copy of Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth by purchasing a new AMD Radeon R9 series starting November 6, 2014.
Earlier AMD also introduced a new series of graphic cards, AMD FirePro W-series. It includes W8100 and W9100 graphic cards.
These cards are designed for desktop workstations and personal supercomputers featuring active cooling for flexible deployment in a wide variety of systems.
These cards are coupled with AMD’s latest Graphics Core Next (GCN) Architecture at its core, AMD Radeon and FirePro efficiently balance compute tasks with 3D workloads and enabling multi-tasking.
