Zync launches Z-18 2G calling tablet at Rs 6009

India-based tablet makers Zync has launched its 2G calling Z18 7 inch tablet, which will be available on Homeshop 18TV from June 27onwards at a price of Rs 6009.

The tablet has capacitive multi touch screen along with a screen resolution of 800×480 pixels and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Powered by 1.5GHz dual processor, the tablet is backed with a 2500 mAh battery.


The internal memory of the device is 4 GB, which can be further expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card. The tablet comes with a 2MP Pure View camera and 0.3MP Secondary Camera.

Abhinav Agarwal, CTO, Zync Global, said, “Zync is targeting the smaller cities as we feel there is a lot of demand for 2G devices owing to the poor Internet connectivity in tier II and tier III cites. We are targeting the high-end affordable tablet market in the country which is growing by leaps and bounds.”
