ZOPO has introduced ZP999 smartphone – priced at $320 — featuring Octa-core MT6595 processor as well as 3G of RAM.
ZOPO ZP999 will be simultaneously launched in 32 countries including Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, Malaysia and Vietnam.
The company says “Octa-core MT6595 processor from Mediatek available in ZP999 smartphone is giving Qualcomm a run for its money.”
The main highlight of the smartphone is 3G of RAM, with ROM capacity of up to 32G and scalability up to 64G.
Process performance is perfect for gaming, watching videos, working and browsing, ZOPO said in a statement.
The MediaTek MT6595 deploys a quad-core Cortex-A17 and quad-core Cortex-A7 Big.LITTLE architecture.
As the world’s first Octa-core processor supporting the 4G LTE network, MT6595 supports FDD / TDD LTE bands and comes with maximum speeds of 150Mbps download and 50Mbps upload, 14 to 35 times the speed of the 3G network.
The AnTuTu benchmark score for MT6595 reaches up to 45000+.
The ZP999 features a 5.5 inch 1080P full HD IPS large screen.
ZP999 has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and 14 megapixel rear shuttle lens.
F2.0 wide aperture lets in 30 percent more light, enabling more realistic and authentic rendering of images. The screen can be made brighter with a tap
The company said the price of ZOPO ZP999 is significantly lower than all rivals on MT6595 platforms.
It is expected to be the big challenger to the Meizu MX4, which comes with the same core.
