Sony has launched its new budget smartphone, Sony Xperia E3 for the Indian customers at a price of Rs 11,990. The company also launched its dual SIM variant priced at Rs 12,990.
The Sony Xperia E3 was revealed during IFA 2014 in Berlin few weeks back. The smartphone will be competing with the likes of Moto G second gen and several other smartphones falling in the same price bracket.

The device boasts a 4.5 inch IPS display with 480 x 854 pixel resolution. The screen is scratch resistant and the corners on Xperia E3 are designed to prevent scratches in case of an unexpected bump.
Sony Xperia E3 is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1 GB RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Adreno 305 GPU.
It boasts a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, HDR mode and Timeshift burst and 0.3 MP front camera with internal storage up to 4GB which is expandable up to 32 GB.
On the connectivity front it has Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS. The device is fueled by a 2330 mAh battery which provides a standby time of 508 hours and 12 hours of talktime.

The Sony Xperia E3 single SIM variant will be available in black and white colours, whereas the dual SIM variant will include a lime coloured model.
In selected markets, Xperia E3 will come with an exclusive entertainment package including a 30 day Premium subscription trial of Sony’s Music Unlimited cloud-based digital music service and three blockbuster movies from Sony Pictures including The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Captain Phillips and Ghostbusters.
