Samsung brings Galaxy Tab3 Neo and NotePRO tablets to India

At the Samsung SWA Forum 2014 at Bali, Indonesia, the device vendor unveiled two new tablets — Galaxy Tab3 Neo at Rs 16,490 and NotePRO at Rs 64,900.

Galaxy NotePRO series

Samsung Galaxy NotePRO has 12.2-inch WQXGA Widescreen (16:10) display, offering resolution (2560×1600) with more than 4 million pixels.

A personalized Content Home feature, specifically optimized for content consumption on a large screen, allows users to further tailor their Galaxy tablet experience for their own needs as an alternative to the familiar Android default home.

Galaxy NotePRO also come pre-loaded with Cisco WebEx Meetings platform. Users can share anything on their screen as well as starting a WebEx meeting from contact list. Samsung e-Meeting provides collaboration capabilities by giving users the ability to share content during a meeting without having to access a central server or network.

The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO is available with various connectivity options: Wi-Fi Only, Wi-Fi and 3G, or Wi-Fi and LTE.

Samsung Galaxy NotePRO will feature up to approximately $700 worth of the pre-paid, subscription offers from best-selling news, social media and cloud storage providers, including: Bitcasa, Bloomberg Businessweek+, Blurb, Cisco WebEx Meetings, Dropbox, Easilydo Pro for Tablet, Evernote, Hancom Office for Android, LinkedIn, LIVESPORT.TV, NY Times, Oxford Advanced Learner’s A-Z, and Sketchbook Pro.

Features of Galaxy Tab3 Neo:

The Samsung Galaxy Tab3 Neo is a mid-segment device with an attractive, slim and light design. The Galaxy Tab3 Neo has a 7-inch display with 600 x 1024 pixels and it measures 193x117x9.7mm and weighs 310gm.

The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and packs 1GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB internal storage expandable via microSD card, and sports a 2MP rear camera. The new Galaxy Tab3 Neo runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. There is a 3G variant available as well.

Samsung Galaxy Tab3 Neo features a 3600 mAh battery and promises 8 hours of video playback time.
