Smartphone vendor LG Electronics today announced that its LG G Watch R smartwatch – on Android Wear platform — will be available across retail stores in Europe including countries such as France, Italy, Spain and the UK in the beginning of November.
This apart, LG will introduce the Android wearable, which was announced at the IFA 2014 tech show, in key markets in North America, Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) soon after.
The Korean device firm did not share the price of the latest smartwatch.
Customers in select markets will also be able to purchase G Watch R on Google Play in the weeks ahead.

Powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 4GB of storage and 512MB of RAM, LG G Watch R is protected from dust and water resistant for up to 30 minutes at a maximum depth of one meter. The G Watch R is compatible with any 22mm wide watch strap.
