LG G Watch now cheaper by $50

Just after the launch of Apple Watch, Google, without wasting any time has made price deduction to its Android wearable  LG G Watch.

Google Play Store offered “special fall savings” on the Android Wear-powered LG G Watch, which is now $50 cheaper than it was before.

The smart watch is now available for $179 which makes it one of the most affordable Android wears for a limited time. The offer will end on September 23.

Another reason for the price cut can be the launch of LG’s new LG G Watch R with Round Display. Users can take advantage of the price cut for the next two weeks

The discounted price will be available only in the U.S. at this moment. Rest of users will have to pay the launch price of the smartwatch if they want one.

Launched in June for $229, the LG G Watch comes with a 1.66-inch 280x280p display, 400 mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor.

In addition, LG G Watch is water and dust resistant and comes with changeable straps.

LG G Watch is receiving a new Android Wear software update, which carries build number KGW42Q. The update brings more options with navigation voice commands as well as alarms and more.
