We are not finding any significant innovation in body design of Lenovo’s K900 smartphone. However, Lenovo says the sleek-cut, stainless steel frame and unibody chassis offers smooth, elegant look and feel.

The K900, running on Intel Atom Z2580 processor, is meant for top-end smartphone buyers. Intel’s dual core chip runs up to 2.0 GHz and utilizes Intel Hyper-Threading technology to boost performance efficiency.

This is the first smartphone running on the Intel Atom Z2580 processor.

Liu Jun, senior vice president, and president of Lenovo Business Group, said: “Lenovo’s smartphone business is growing fast in global markets. In 2013, we will add several new countries to our smartphone footprint, and by year-end we will cover most of the world’s emerging markets.”

The other main feature is Intel Graphics Media Accelerator engine running a PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU, which triples graphics performance over the previous generation.

This makes the Lenovo K900 very responsive, especially for key functions such as web-browsing, multi-tasking and application-switching.

The phone is 6.9mm thin. It is handy, strong and smooth to manage. The new phone supports WCDMA 2100Mhz, GSM 900/1800/1900Mhz.

The new smartphone with 162 gram weight features a 5.5” IPS display with 1080p full high-definition resolution performance at 400+ pixels-per-inch.

Touch-capacitive Gorilla Glass 2 gives supreme clarity and crispness.

The Lenovo K900’s camera with 13MP and Sony Exmor BSI sensor offers outstanding performance.

There are other value additions with camera. Lenovo’s K900 features an F1.8 focal length lens, making it the first smartphone to offer a wide aperture on its camera.

Lenovo K900 features 2500mAh battery. It does not talk about battery life.

Smartphone users can replace the wallpaper.
