Lenovo has extended its VIBE series portfolio with the launch of Lenovo VIBE X2 in India. It is the world’s first layered smartphone and has all the essential features a user looks for.
The VIBE X2 is priced at Rs 19,999 and will be selling exclusively through the e-commerce channel Flipkart. The device will be available from 10 November. Recently, Huawei, another Chinese devices vendor, launched its Honor 6 smartphone at the same price on the same online portal. It is believed that Honor 6 has received good demand from Indian consumers.
VIBE X is still priced at Rs 19,000, while Lenovo K900 is available for Rs 21,990 on e-commerce channels.
VIBEX X2 is the first smartphone to be launched in India after completing Lenovo’s deal with Motorola Mobility. The deal will assist Lenovo to become the third largest smartphone vendor in India after Samsung and Micromax.
The VIBE X2 is a dual SIM smartphone and sports a 5 inch IPS display 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It is 7.27 mm thick and weighs 120 gms.
The smartphone boasts a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP front camera. 32GB of internal storage is a value addition for smartphone users.
On the connectivity front it has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It is fueled by a 2300mAh battery.

Lenovo also introduced click-on accessories called Vibe Xtensions for the Vibe X2, including the Vibe X2 Battery and Vibe X2 Speaker.
Earlier, Lenovo announced the VIBE Z2 parallel to VIBE X2 at IFA 2014. The device has not been launched for the Indian market yet.
The VIBE Z2 boasts a 5 inch HD display and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with 2GB RAM.
It has a 13MP rear autofocus camera and an 8MP front camera. The device is juiced up by a 3000mAh.
