Lenovo PCs and tablets to offer free Google Play Music

Lenovo has joined hands with Google Play to offer free music streaming and storage for Lenovo and Lenovo Think-branded Windows PCs and tablets in select countries.

The free music offer is part of a limited period trial.

The users of Lenovo PCs and tablets will have instant unlimited, on-demand access to Google Play Music All Access to enjoy a catalog of more than 30 million songs. They can create custom radio stations, browse music curated from Google’s expert music team and share music with friends on Google+, Facebook or Twitter.

Lenovo users can store up to 20,000 songs from an existing digital music collection in Google Play Music for free.

Lenovo becomes second largest tablet maker

Lenovo, the Chinese PC brand, is offering unlimited music streaming through two free trial offers. A Lenovo exclusive free 90-day trial will come preloaded with Lenovo and Lenovo Think-branded Windows PCs and tablets purchased between September 12, 2014 and January 12, 2015 in select countries.

The 90-day trial offer should be redeemed by 11:59 p.m. ET on March 12, 2015. The offer is available in more than 45 countries where Google Play Music is available in North America, South America and Europe.

Lenovo customers who purchase a Lenovo device before and after the promotion period can get Google Play Music’s 30-day free trial by signing up for Google Play Music’s subscription service on the web or their Android device.
