Lenovo launches S8 Android calling tablet with WLAN support

Lenovo has launched S8 Android tablet on Intel platform.

The price of Lenovo S8 Android tablet on Flipkart is Rs 16,990. Dell, one of the rivals of Lenovo, is selling Dell Venue 8 tablet for Rs 18,999 on the same e-commerce platform. Dell Venue 8 tablet comes with 2.1 GHz Dual Core processor and 1 GB RAM whereas Lenovo S8 has 1.8 GHz quad core with 2 GB RAM.

For Rs 16,990, Lenovo S8 Android tablet is better than Dell Venue 8 tablet.

Main specifications of Lenovo S8 Android tablet, which is available in Ebony black, include Android OS, v4.4 KitKat, 20.25 cm thick, 299 gms weight, 8MP AF rear and 1.6MP HD front cameras equipped with a dual LED flash.

G-Sensor, Vibration, Hall and Satellite, A-GPS, GLONASS are the added features of Lenovo S8 Android tablet that will be available from today in India.

The 2G and 3G calling tablet also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n WLAN for broadband users.
