Huawei is set to launch Honor 6 that features a Huawei developed Hisilicon K920 octa core processor running big.LITTLE architecture (4 x Cortex A7 and 4 x Cortex A15).
The Chinese phone vendor is announcing the latest smartphone at a press meet in Delhi today afternoon.
E-commerce channel Amazon . in has listed Huawei Honor 6 at Rs 44,500.

Similar to the Exynos processors from Samsung, the chip has a Mali T628 GPU and brings LTE support to the phone.
Huawei Honor 6, which comes with 5-inch display and 1920 x 1080 resolution, features the Google Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS.
The latest smartphone, which will be launched in India today, has a 3GB RAM onboard.
CAT 6 LTE support, up to 32GB of internal memory and an SD card slot, 5 mega-pixel front camera and Sony IMx214 13 megapixel rear with dual LED flash are the other important features.

Earlier Huawei said Honor 6 will be available for a starting price of 1999 Yuan for the 16GB and at 2299 Yuan for the 32GB model in China.
To promote Honor 6 launch, Huawei Devices India has kicked off a campaign in the country.
It is believed that Huawei will also be displaying its new smartphones during the launch event.
On September 4, Huawei launched its Ascend Mate7 at IFA 2014, featuring 6-inch screen with FHD display, 7.9mm body, octa core chipset and 4100 mAh battery.
In addition, Huawei also unveiled its new Ascend G7 smartphone at IFA 2014. It features 5.5-inch HD screen, enhanced 4G LTE Cat4 connectivity and 13MP rear-facing camera.
