Huawei Ascend Mate smartphone with 4,050mAh battery priced at Rs 24,900

Huawei’s Ascend Mate smartphone will be priced at Rs 24,900 in India.

The 6.1-inch smartphone features 1280x720p resolution that can be used while wearing gloves.

Huawei Ascend Mate is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor made by Huawei, coupled with 2GB RAM.

4,050mAh battery is a value addition for mobile phone users. Battery lasts up to 2 days on a single charge.

The new smartphone runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with Emotion UI.

Huawei on Tuesday said the device has 8GB storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Ascend Mate features 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity.

The new smartphone from Huawei has an 8MP rear camera and a 1MP front HD snapper.

The device measures 6.5mm along the waistline, making it thinner than iPhone 5.

The keyboard of the device can be reduced in size and moved towards the left or right.
