Acer 8-inch Iconia W4 tablet specifications revealed

Acer Iconia W4, an 8-inch tablet with Windows 8.1 and the 4th Generation Intel Atom processor, will be shipped in North America and Taiwan in October and Japan in November.

The Taiwanese devices company did not announce the price of the new tablet that features IPS and Zero Air Gap technologies providing better display, clarity and brightness. Based on the main specifications — revealed by Acer — you will not find any significant innovations with this new tablet.

Intel Atom processor supports battery life of up to 10 hours for web browsing and up to 8 hours for video playback, Acer said. Usually, tablet and device makers claim better battery life.
