Xiaomi is reportedly all set to launch a much-anticipated smartphone Redmi 5 on February 14 in India.
On the contrary, there are few reports, which suggest that the Chinese company might unveil Redmi Note 5 instead of Redmi 5. As of now, it is difficult to confirm, which device will be launched on February 14. However, based on various media reports, the smartphone would likely be Redmi 5.

The smartphone will be the successor of highly popular mid-range smartphone Redmi 4. It is worth mentioning that the handset was earlier launched in China in December 2017. The phone will fall into the mid-range smartphone category with the price range around Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 is rumored to sport a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 1440 x 720 resolution. In terms of processor, it could feature an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chip paired with 3GB or 4GB RAM. The phone might run on the Android 7.0 Nougat on the top of company’s MIUI OS skin. Furthermore, the handset is expected to mark 3300mAh battery under the hood.
