Xiaomi is rumored to launch its next flagship smartphone Mi MIX 2S at MWC 2018, scheduled to start from February 26 in Barcelona.
The device will be the successor of Mi Mix 2 launched in 2017. If reports are to be believed, the flagship will come up with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Notably, if reports turn out to be true, it will be the first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 845 chip.
MIX 2S is reportedly spotted on benchmark site AnTuTu with the Snapdragon 845 processor. The device is codenamed ‘Polaris’ with the scores 270,461. Other top-end smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S9, OnePlus 6, LG G7 and Xperia XZ are also in the line to mark the same processor.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S could sport 6GB or 8GB RAM with the chip. In terms of camera, the Chinese company is tipped to mark Sony IMX363 camera sensor with a dual-pixel autofocus technology in MIX 2S. A lot is yet to come regarding the phone including the price and the official launch date.
