Xiaomi Mi 7 is an upcoming flagship smartphone expected to release by early 2018. It is tipped to sport facial recognition feature, as per the reports. Xiaomi might ditch its plans to come with fingerprint sensor in the flagship.
The Face ID first came in the iPhone X, which was the first mainstream smartphone to feature the face unlock technology. OnePlus 5T and Honor View 10 later sported the same security feature.
Notably, there are also few reports suggesting that it could mark under-display fingerprint sensor. According to GizChina, Mi 7 could mark an under-display fingerprint sensor.
The upcoming smartphone expected to feature 18:9-aspect ratio 6-inch bezel-less display. On the camera front, it might sport dual-lens camera technology. Not much information is known regarding the camera yet.
One of the biggest highlights in the XiaomiMi 7 could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 854 Processor. The chip is the most powerful processor by the Qualcomm yet. It is worth noting that Samsung Galaxy S9 is also rumored to feature the same processor. The release date of the phone is not confirmed yet. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
