Samsung Galaxy S9 to launch on February 25, say reports

Samsung is all set to unveil the much-anticipated flagship smartphone, Galaxy S9 on February 25 as per the reports.  The company has recently confirmed the launch date via Twitter with the caption “From 02.25.2018. #Unpacked will change how you experience everything.”  It is worth mentioning that the tweeted teaser of Galaxy S9 focuses on its camera.

There will be two variants of the phone S9 with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and S9 Plus with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. If reports are to be believed, the recently leaked images of the device suggest that it will be similar to its preceder, Galaxy S8 in terms of design.

The S9 is likely to sport 5.8-inch-infinity display, while S9 Plus could feature 6.2-inch. The flagships almost confirmed to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor. On the camera front, the devices could mark 12MP rear camera with f/2.4 and f/1.5 switchable aperture and the 8MP front-facing camera.

Price of the phones is not confirmed yet. However, as per the rumors, customers can expect the pricing of the standard Galaxy S9 model around $1000. According to reports, Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will be up for sale starting the second week of March. The high-end smartphones will battle Apple iPhone X in the top flight.
