Samsung Galaxy S9 leaked online, here are the design details

Samsung is expected to launch Galaxy S9 in January during CES 2018. It is worth mentioning that the company usually launches flagship S-series smartphone in March or April. It might be Samsung’s strategic move to beat its rivals. Recently, the renders of the phone leaked and suggest a slight change in design.

The device will feature the same Galaxy S8 like the bezel-less design with the curved-edge display. The top and bottom bezels of S9 are less as compared to its preceder. Another change one can see is the camera and fingerprint scanner position compared to S8. One of the biggest surprises in the phone is single lens camera. Earlier, it was expected that the Galaxy S9 will sport the dual-lens camera.

Rumored specs and features

Galaxy S9 might sport 6.2in QHD+ Super AMOLED curved display. It is heavily rumored to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 processor in the US and Samsung Exynos in other selective countries.

On the security front, Flagship could come up with under the screen fingerprint scanner. The handset is further expected to mark Bixby AI assistant with the dedicated button. Samsung Galaxy S9 might run on Android 8.0 out-of-the-box. The phone will compete with iPhone X in top-end flight. Nothing more is known regarding the device including the price. Stay tuned for more tech news and updates.
