Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is expected to release in the second quarter of 2018. It is one of the company’s most anticipated smartphones of this year. The launch date of the device in India is also yet to confirm. Redmi Note 5 will be a successor of highly popular Note 4.
Xiaomi is reportedly waiting for the Qualcomm to release Snapdragon 632 chip, which is expected to be sported in the Redmi Note 5. Presumably, this could be the reason for the delay in the launch of the smartphone.
XiaomiRedmi Note 5 is rumored to sport 18:9 aspect ratio 5.99-inch full-HD Plus display with the resolution of 1080×2160. The handset is expected to run on the MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. On the storage front, it would mark 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The dual-camera setup could be featured in the Redmi Note 5 with 5MP snapper. A lot of features and specs of the phone are yet to confirm. The starting price of the smartphone could be CNY 1,599 (around Rs. 15,500).
