Nokia 6, Nokia 9: The company’s early 2018 offerings

Nokia has returned to the smartphone market in 2017 with a number of smartphones. The company has launched the devices stretching from budget segment to the premium smartphones.

Nokia 9 and Nokia 6 are probably the company’s most anticipated devices of 2018. Reports suggest that the phones will release in the first quarter of the year. Notably, the HMD-backed Finnish tech giant has not confirmed the official date of the said handsets yet.

Nokia 9

Nokia 9 will be the company’s flagship smartphone and fall in the high-end smartphone market segment. Nokia 9 is expected to have a curved-edge display or bezel-less design. The flagship might be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 processor.

Furthermore, the smartphone could feature dual-lens camera setup with Carl-Zeiss optics, 6GB RAM, and 128GB internal memory. The device is speculated to run on Android Oreo 8.O. On the competition front, it will rival upcoming Galaxy S9, Oneplus 6 and other flagships.

Nokia 6 (2018)

The firm might launch the 2018 version of Nokia 6 with the radical changes in terms of design compared to current model. This change would be the 18:9 aspect ratio display.

There are also rumors regarding the Snapdragon 630 chipset in the phone paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Overall, 2018 version of Nokia 6 will heavily upgrade compared to 2017 variant. Nothing else is known regarding the phone.
