Nokia 1: Company’s cheapest smartphone to launch in March

Nokia 1 is an upcoming rumored budget smartphone.  The specs, features and price of the phone have been recently leaked online.

The phone is speculated to release in March 2018. It is expected to be one of the first devices to feature Android Go OS. It is worth noting that the said OS is designed especially for budget smartphones to deliver a great user experience.

It is expected to be Nokia’s cheapest smartphone after Nokia 2. The handset could cost approx RUB 5,990 (around Rs. 6,600), as per the reports. The information is revealed by Russian tipster EldarMurtazin.

In terms of specs and features, Nokia 1 is might feature 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 resolution. On the processor front, it could sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 SoC paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory with expendable option. The camera details and design is not known yet.

The smartphone is rumored to run on Android Oreo (Go edition). It will compete with the other budget smartphones like, Xiaomi 5A and Bharat 5. The official release date is not confirmed yet. Stay tuned for more tech news and updates.
