Nokia 1: Android Oreo (Go Edition) surfaced online

Nokia is rumored to launch Nokia 1 at MWC 2018 in Barcelona in February alongside with Nokia 4 and Nokia 7. The device will fall into the entry-level smartphone segment.

The handset might run on Google’s Android Oreo (Go Edition).  This edition of the OS is optimized to work budget smartphones. There is no official date announced for the launch.

There are two images of the phone leaked online. The pictures were revealed by a user on Baidu. These alleged pics of the Nokia 1 show its back panel. Notably, the two images have a different design, which suggests that the phone might come up with two variants.

Talking about specs, Nokia 1 might sport HD IPS-LCD display with 720×1280 resolution as per the leaks. On the processor front, it could feature Qualcomm or a MediaTek chip coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Nothing else is known regarding the specs and features.

The smartphone might cost around Rs 6,500 in India. Nokia 1 will rival Xiaomi 5A and Micromax Bharat 5 in the county. Stay tuned for more news and updates on tech.
