Motorola is expected to launch Moto G6 series smartphones on April 9 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Apart from these smartphones, Moto Z3 Play might also be unveiled at the same event. Currently, it is unknown that whether this is a global launching of smartphones or country-specific.
Reports suggest that the company has sent the media invite for an event on April 19 with the caption “Hello You.”
The specs and renders of Moto G6 smartphones have been leaked recently. The leaks suggest that Moto G6 might sport a 5.7-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display. It is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box and could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor.
Meanwhile, Moto G6 Play is likely to feature a 5.7-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 chip paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage.
On the other hand, Moto G6 Plus is expected to pack a 5.93-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS display. In terms of processor, it could run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage.
