Microsoft Surface Phone: Will the flagship release at MWC 2018?

Microsoft Surface Phone is a long-rumored smartphone. The said device is making headlines for the past one year. The latest set of rumors suggests the possible release at MWC 2018, which is starting 26 February.

On the contrary, a few reports further suggest that the company is still working on the phone and it might be unveiled by the end of the year.

Back in November 2016, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said that the firm wants to build the “Best Phone Ever.”

Talking about the specs and the features, Surface Phone is speculated to mark foldable design, the flagship will be able to fold 360 degrees with the help of free-stop hinge mechanism. The information is based on the patents filed by Microsoft regarding the design of the phone. The device is expected to run on the Andromeda, as per the reports.

The smartphone is rumored to feature OLED display and dual lens camera. On the processor front, Microsoft might go for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip. The handset will rival iPhone X and upcoming Galaxy S9. There is nothing else is known regarding the phone. Stay tuned for more tech updates.
