Microsoft Surface Phone leaks suggest 360-degree foldable design

Microsoft’s rumored Surface Phone is making headlines due to its design. The latest renders of the alleged flagship is indicating towards 360-degree foldable design. If reports are to be believed, Microsoft’s latest patent details suggest free-stop hinge mechanism, which will help the device to rotate at 360-degree.

The company is said to be not in hurry to launch the phone. In November 2016, Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft said that they want to build the “Best Phone Ever.”

In terms of specs and feature, Surface Phone is speculated to sport OLED display. The device might also come up with dual-lens camera technology. Not much details are known regarding the camera. On the connectivity front, it could mark USB-C Type.

The flagship is expected to be an Andromeda OS powered device. Surface Phone can be seen running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip, if Microsoft goes for third party processor. The smartphone will have competition with iPhone X and Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S9 in case it launches in 2018. Currently, Microsoft has no model present in the high-end smartphone market segment. Stay tuned for more news and updates on technology.
