LG V30 (2018) to launch at MWC 2018

LG V30’s updated version is reportedly launching at MWC 2018 in Barcelona. The event is set to start on 26 February. Earlier, it was rumored that the company might launch G7 at the event, which ultimately might not happen.

The biggest highlights of V30 will be its new artificial intelligence capabilities of a deeper integration with Google Assistant, reports Korean Herald. Notably, V30 was launched in September 2017, the upgraded version launch is interesting happening within six months. Recently, LG CEO and Vice Chairman Jo Seong-Jin hinted that company will launch the devices when they needed to and will not follow one-year launch cycle. Specifications of the phone are yet to confirm.

LG is also revamping the G-series flagship series with the launch of G7. The date of the launch is not confirmed. The handset will represent the company in the high-end smartphone market and compete with upcoming Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone X.

LG G7 is expected to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip coupled with 6GB RAM. The phone is expected to come up with radical changes in the design compared to G6 with curved edges on both sides of it. The rumors further claim the dual-rear camera setup on the back of the device.
